Update: garden & epic hair

Hey Ladies<3

if you remember my mothers day post, my husband got me stuff to start my own garden

you can read about that HERE

 

on May 25th we planted big boy tomatoes, sunflowers, and wild flowers;;

& heres how much theyve grown

its so exciting to see them! and i cant wait to see the final result, im obsessed now

we just planted lupines & cosmos (had to get those seeds when i saw them of course) and ill update when they start to pop up & on these guys as they grow(:

Dayton was featured on the Huffington Post in an article they did on Mommyshorts search of the most epic head of baby hair, she chose him as one of the babys, sooo proud and ecstatic! still waiting to see the top 10 finalists probably by monday i can only imagine how many pictures shes going thru, such a busy lady.

UPDATE: IM BACK!!

Hey ladies,
its been quite awhile 20 months to be exact  since i last blogged or even looked at my blog but im back. my life has changed so much and ive settled in to it, and now have the time to dedicate to my writing. since 2011 ive come a long way in my beauty career i atteneded cosmetology school and am now a trained cosmetologist. i also met the man of my dreams, got married, and started a family. im now the proud mommy of a beautiful babyboy Dayton Augustine born march 22nd 2013 and now that im a "cosmo mommy" my blog will also include posts about motherhood from pregnancy-birth and everything after. i hope you all will enjoy the different inportant aspects of my life as i continue to share with you now.

Heavy Haulin: retail therapy & Update

i had my CT scan today, and i got the results, im not ready to let you girls know yet, i will be talking to my dr in a few days to find out whats my next step & i will update when i know more, i can say fer sure tho that its not kidney stones & i sadly would prefer that over this but i'll take the hurdles as they come, nothing can stop me(: the place i got the scan was near my local mall so i had to go for some "retail therapy"

yesterday the culture came back and the kidney infection has cleared up but because im still in so much pain they scheduled a CT scan for wednesday (their thinking its kidney stones) we'll see tho, ill update then.

& because this post was so short i wanted to share a photo of Twinkie, hes all perked up and when he makes this silly face i know hes about to get crazy and hyper ;P haaa

Heavy Haulin: thrift & Update

yesterday i went to the drs to see if the antibiotic im on is helping the infection, it tested the same as the day i went to urgent care, ughh, that means im not getting better, on friday the culture will be in & i will know more. meanwhile im in alot of pain, so they perscribed a higher dose pain killer. & im concerned obviously but i try to concentrate on other things, like talking & shopping lol after my appt i went to a local thrift store with my mom since shes my driver atm haa its always a good time when were together tho, i bought a few things i didnt want to spend to much since my girl Jazmin of my pursuit of happiness is gonna be in town for a couple weeks & when we get together i plan to do some money damage ;p

OOTD: love pink & Update

today i dressed very casual and i was trying to be as comfy as possible because i woke in so much pain, the last 4 days i had pain but not like this, and i knew something was wrong, so i called my mom and asked her to take me to an urgent care clinic, i found out that i have a kidney infection (& possible kidney stones, if the pain becomes to much to handle i'll be going to the emergency room) but for now im just going to be treating the infection, i was prescribed a harsh antibiotic & vicoden for the pain, ill update on recovery in a week or so.

Twinkie is all better!! YAY! (: he tested negative for bacteria in his ear, at least i dont have that to worry about anymore,  after i dropped him off at home i went to payless because they have a new line there called "brash" i needed to check it out and i recommend you girls do to! then i picked up a 6 pack of mikes hard lemonade to help me kick back & relax

Update: Twinkies vet appt

for anyone who wants to know about how his appt today went keep reading...
a little over a month ago i noticed his right ear becoming really red & him picking at it, i was worried like anyother pet owner, i watched to see if it got better but it didnt, so i made an appt today, his last appt was when he was 7 months old we got him neutured & shots that were going to be due for his 1 year, now almost 3 yrs he was due for 4 vaccines which he recieved 3 shots & 1 administered through nose, during the exam his temp was taken (102, which is normal on a hot day for dogs) his weight 7.1 pds (suprisingly his weight is great for his size, i thought he was overweight since i feed him what i eat plus dog food, relax only foods i know are safe lol) & his teeth were checked the dr explained to me that he has 2 baby teeth still which means that he doesnt have adult teeth that will grow in there and replace them (it happens sometimes) but i have to take extra care of those baby teeth so soon i will start brushing his teeth daily. also the dr talked about "prevenative tests" i was talked into it, (wish i wouldve waited till next yr to do it since it was costly on top of the already expensive appt) they performed a urinalysis which checks for kidney stones (he didnt have any, & i didnt think he would). anyways on to the point HIS EAR! they did a deep cleaning before they could swap the ear and check for bacteria... he has a severe bacterial infection of the ear "otitis" he was perscribed antibiotic drops which i will administer twice a day for 14 days, (with high bacterial infections theres always a chance that the bacteria can be resistant to antibiotics) so in 2 weeks i will go back in for a check up to see if they worked, i really hope they do! i will keep you ladies updated...
