i wore this to the american heritage car show here in southern cali. it was amazing tons of old cars, it was Daytons 2nd car show (we plan on taking him to 1 every month, as we love cars and think itll be a great thing we can share with him) but anyways, heres the look.

Update: garden & epic hair

Hey Ladies<3

if you remember my mothers day post, my husband got me stuff to start my own garden

you can read about that HERE

 

on May 25th we planted big boy tomatoes, sunflowers, and wild flowers;;

& heres how much theyve grown

its so exciting to see them! and i cant wait to see the final result, im obsessed now

we just planted lupines & cosmos (had to get those seeds when i saw them of course) and ill update when they start to pop up & on these guys as they grow(:

Dayton was featured on the Huffington Post in an article they did on Mommyshorts search of the most epic head of baby hair, she chose him as one of the babys, sooo proud and ecstatic! still waiting to see the top 10 finalists probably by monday i can only imagine how many pictures shes going thru, such a busy lady.

Today we took Dayton to get his first set of shots, he had to wait till he was 8 weeks since he was a NICU baby. this is what i wore;; ill have a FOTD post for this day comming soon.

ive been doing alot of my pregnancy ootd's lately and i look different obviously, this is my current look (i tend to get bored of my hair once its faded, and black is easier to up keep with a newborn) i will do a whole post on my different hair colorings from the last 2 years.

Care To Share: my 1st mothers day

the morning started with me breastfeeding my son then as he always does in the morning he went down right after, (he sleeps till about 11). my husband handed me flowers and made me a delicious breakfast it was an egg and swiss muffin, yumm.

then i got a sweet card that talked about his love for me and thanking me for giving him such a beautiful son, he also got me stuff for the makings of my 1st garden, ive always wanted one but never thought i could because we live in an apt, hes determined to show me we can tho <3 (ill update on how that goes)

after we got ready and the baby ready (ill have an ootd post coming after this)

we went to the house of my best friend and god mother to my son for a visit

then spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool on a sunny southern california day

i was completly impressed my husband did everything he could to make sure i felt special on my 1st mothers day
